Joanna Borns is a writer and producer in New York City. If you’ve ever been on the internet you’ve likely encountered something she created. For six years she was a senior writer/producer at BuzzFeed making some of the most viral content on the internet with millions of views—from your favorite quizzes to videos about haunted dolls. Not to name drop, but both Taylor Swift and Kiernan Shipka have taken some of her weirdest quizzes. And—get this—Pitbull follows her on Twitter.
She is also a longtime-contributor of jokes to The Onion, has performed improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, written for McSweeney’s, and has written several original half-hour comedy pilot scripts you may read upon request.
Joanna also worked on the game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? during the Meredith Vieira era. One time she dropped a fruitcake live on Good Morning America.
